The Taiwanese Dragonwell is hand-harvested using the one bud and two leaf standard and is grown from a cultivar of the tea tree unique to the 3 Gorges District. The fragrance is fresh, smooth and slightly fruity & vegetal with a mellow taste and sweet aftertaste. Great body. This tea, while similar in name to the Chinese Dragonwell, is different in flavor and taste from its Chinese cousin.
The 3 Gorges District is pollution-free, and the tea garden from which Dragonwell is grown is under organic management. Our Dragonwell has been tested and found to have no pesticide residues.
