Aged Qin Xin Gan Zi White

The Aged Qin Xin Gan Zi tea is a new white tea that we are carrying from the same farm that produces the Taiwanese Bi Luo Chun and Dragonwell. This tea uses the same cultivar as those green teas and is harvested in early spring, except that it is not processed, only dried.

This is the same cultivar also used for the famous Honey Black and Oriental Beauty teas, except that those teas undergo bug bites and are harvested in a different season.

This tea is really delicious with a nice body and lots of deep floral and honey fragrance. The Silver White tips that we have in stock is the same tea (different producer) except that the Silver White undergoes a more stringent selection of only buds and baby leaves, which gives the Silver White Tips a more refined and slightly smoother taste. The Aged Qin Xin Gan Zi is aged for 2 years, and is an exceptional tea that keeps on giving. I was able to re-steep this tea for an entire day!

This tea farm is under strict organic management. Because the tea has been aged for two years, the caffeine level is medium to low for a tea of this calibre. As you keep steeping the tea throughout the day, the caffeine will be gone, as each subsequent steep reduces the amount of caffeine in your brew.
