Moonlight Beauty hails from Yunnan Province, China. It is made from the buds & leaves of the Menghai Big Leaf Cultivar (similar to Puerh) and according to folklore, was harvested by beautiful young women in the nighttime, to minimize exposure to the sun.
Moonlight Beauty is prepared in a similar manner to Fuding White Tea; however, it has a much stronger and more robust taste than white tea, due to its cultivar. The fragrance is sweet, and the taste and body of the tea is much more similar to black tea. It is truly a unique tea!
