The batch we bought this year is harvested from Meijawu Village, Zhejiang Province, China. Meijawu in the West Lake region is well-reputed for producing some of the highest quality Dragonwell tea. It is one of the five famous tea-producing villages in the West Lake region and is considered second only to Shifeng in terms of quality and prestige.
This dragonwell has a strong roasted nutty aroma that characterizes Dragonwell tea. This year's harvest is medium bodied and has a lingering smooth aftertaste with a slight astringency.
