Early 2020 spring harvest raw puerh from gushu (Ancient Trees) in Xigui, Bangdong Township, Lincang County, Yunnan Province. Xi Gui is located in Southwest Yunnan and is a famous sheng puerh producing location.
This unique puerh can be enjoyed now, as the early spring buds & leaves are sweeter, more tender and fragrant. The body & unique flavor is due to the age of the tree, as well as the mineral rich waters of the Lincang Jiang River (aka Mekong River). This tea has a wonderful lingering aftertaste.
This puerh is a great gift for the tea lover you know - produced in a new "chocolate bar" format, it's made for travel. Just break off a square and start your brew!
Each "bar" comes with 6 squares and weighs a total of 1.7oz. Perfect for a tea-head as a stocking stuffer idea. The tea is very unique!

Delicious
I was a newcomer to puerh when I ordered this. It’s absolutely delicious, with the first full steep being fairly light but tasty: the second thru fourth steeps darker and even tastier, with a nice taste of minerals to match the floral and herbal tastes. It’s a pleasure to brew and sip over the course of a winter day, enjoying the gradations in color and flavor with each steeping. I packed the bar for travel! Highly recommended
