Wild Yunnan White - 2025 Early Spring

Wild & hand-harvested. Tea Leaves are harvested from 300-500 year old native trees growing in the wild at 1,200 - 2,000m altitude and plucked to the gong mei standard (one bud, 2-3 leaves). Leaves are still mostly green! This year's harvest has an amazingly fresh fragrance of sweet lily, muscat grape and plum with a smooth & sweet taste and very clean finish. The tea is very flavorful.

This tea is part of a limited harvest of first pluck teas in the early spring. Ming Qian tea is considered a treasure and is gifted in small quantity in China, due to its rarity and especially high quality.

This is my new favorite tea. I love the mild sweetness and the clean taste. When chilled it has the mouth feel of a good, minerally white wine
