Brenda's Biscuit Black

When I was a kid, my mom would brew a strong cup of tea with milk (milk tea) to go with her afternoon tea biscuits (Digestives, Rich Tea etc) before she would make dinner.

This tea is named in honor of my mother, Brenda, because when it is brewed, it brings me back to her daily afternoon tea ritual. The tea is smooth and naturally caramel and carries with it a fragrance and warmth that will balance out the sweetness of an afternoon cookie, pastry or biscuit.

Brenda's Biscuit is the latest orthodox (unflavored) black tea to join our milk tea line-up. This fragrant black tea originates from Fujian Province and has comforting notes of deep honey, caramel and a slight earthiness, accompanied by a rich taste. If you like our popular Dragon Eye Black, you will most likely also enjoy this tea. Like Dragon Eye, this tea has the versatility and robustness to be enjoyed both standalone or with milk and can be rebrewed multiple times.

For those of you who have visited the store over the last few months, you would have seen this tea available on the shelf. We imported a small quantity at first and it sold so quickly we had to bring more back!
