Origin: Yunnan, China. The sticky rice cake has been smoked with the Nuo Mi Xiang herb to impart a sweet rice fragrance to the puerh. The sticky rice cake retains more of the original puerh fragrance and has a more subtle sticky rice fragrance. Some customers prefer a stronger rice fragrance (and select the sticky rice tuo cha), while some prefer a greater balance with the natural fragrance of the puerh coming out stronger in the steep (and select the sticky rice cake).
